What WERS measures

Every M.C.G window and door is rated under the Window Energy Rating Scheme (WERS), the national program that independently measures how a product performs against Australia’s diverse climate. WERS ratings give you a clear, comparable measure of both heating and cooling efficiency, so specifiers, builders and homeowners can choose with confidence rather than guesswork.

How M.C.G products are rated

Our ranges are tested through accredited, NATA-recognised facilities and rated for their whole-of-window performance, frame and glass together, not glass alone. That gives a true picture of how the finished window will perform in your wall, not just the glass in isolation.

Compliance with the NCC and NatHERS
